"Folklortronik" is a solo album, signed by Mădălin Luca, comprising 8 musical tracks, some in the form of a suite, containing between two or four different songs, in which the Romanian folklore and electronic music merge. The album includes recordings from different live concerts of Mădălin Luca.

The music of this album appeared for the first time in 2011, during a concert "one man show", the songs being performed at pan flute in symbiosis with electronic accompaniments - loop's, soundscapes, virtual instruments.

Mădălin Luca began to use in his concerts the electronically processed pan flute from the need to search and discover new expressive valences of the pan flute and to express its essence. By transforming the sound of the pan flute, the sound becomes more penetrating, envelops you, you feel it to the depth of your soul. The interpretation style of the traditional Romanian music is a creative, improvised one, each song being recreated in its own key, the central pillar being the expression of the deep meaning of the music.

“Folklortronik” is a way of transmitting the Romanian folklore to the new generations with the help of electronic music, preserving its authenticity through the interpretation mode.

“Floklortronik” is not only an album for Mădălin Luca, but it is a musical genre that is constantly evolving in line with his artistic expression.
